Searching For The Jacaranda

I spent this morning helping out at a working bee at church, and then grocery shopping for the week.
Such fun! 🙂 But tiring…

Yesterday morning was also busy.
I took in my painting for the exhibition next week – feeling a lot lighter now it’s off my hands!
Then went off for coffee after, and whiled away some time in my little patch of sun.

By the time I got over the river it was too late to get some shopping done before my bus went, so I raced off to the bus stop.
It was only when I was half way home that I remembered that I’d wanted to find some jacarandas around town for a photo shoot.
They only seem to explode into their purply splendour for a shortish amount of time, so I wanted to capture some before they faded…
But – tired. And thirsty. And glad to be going home.

As I trudged off the bus, and dawdled home, I looked up to see the large, purple jacaranda tree just across the road!
