It’s the middle of school holidays here, and you never know when you’ll unexpectedly come upon a child-oriented display.
This time around we found a mechanical menagerie in the mall.
They mimicked the real animal sounds – some more believably than others.
Who’s the king of the jungle?
Not this lion.
It appears to have led a hard life…
The tiger of the library.
And the zebra of…indifference?
Never mind 😀
There was also a flappy parrot (with an implausibly big butterfly behind a tree)
We were there later in the afternoon, when there were no visiting children.
Just us, in the cold spring evening, remembering school holidays of the past.
