I love this time of year, when the jacarandas are in bloom, and my front yard becomes a lovely purple carpet!
I never seem to be able to capture the full brightness, though…
I may try again when the flowers really start to fall…
In other news, a fair while back we transplanted a couple of mango trees from the compost heap to the front yard. One of them is doing fine, the other is struggling. That hasn’t stopped the various hitch-hikers that made the journey with the tree…
There’s a few tomatoes there, as well as some viney things (either pumpkin or watermelon – I can’t tell them apart. Until they fruit) We’ll leave them there… if they want to live there, who are we to say no! 😀
