Gingerbread Night

Just back from the annual Gingerbread House night at my church’s women’s group. I think I can safely say that we are well ahead in our Christmas sugar requirements..
Lots of fun, as usual. Old friends, new friends, and lots of laughs. I love seeing what everyone comes up with, as well – some very inventive houses around.

Meeting The Neighbours

Had a lovely afternoon yesterday, meeting the neighbours in our complex – the agents/managers (not sure what they are..) put on a barbeque so we could get to know everyone else.. we have a great neighbourhood! 😀 Stayed talking for most of the afternoon, while the kids went swimming..

We supplied a gingerbread house, which we made with the boys, from a kit given to us by a lovely friend… here it is –

We have been so blessed – with a beautiful house to live in, and neighbours we will enjoy getting to know… this will be a good Christmas season 😀
