It’s been so sunny lately! Quite hot for winter, as well – lovely to sit out on the patio and warm my toes.
This is the view I mostly get. Endless blue skies, with the occasional fluffy cloud scudding across. It’s easy to dream, and think of what might be. To feel unfettered by circumstance and that anything is possible…
My life has felt freer most of this year. I’m even going out in the evenings! Last night we dropped Sweet Bean off at his youth group and went on to a cafe we hadn’t been to before. Bonus – live music! It was very good; an unexpected sweetness to the evening.
Such bounty, and all for just over $15! Hot chocolate, tea (not two pots – one pot is tea, the other is hot water to top it up), and a gluten free jaffa chocolate mud cake, which came with ice cream and blueberries. There were children shouting (a nearby playground?) and two big TVs suspended from the ceiling, but the sound wasn’t on and they didn’t really interfere with talking. We were outside, but the temperature was pleasant.
The sky wasn’t blue by that time of the evening. Still plenty of scope for inspiration and an open mind!
