Second day of the new school year, and everything’s going well so far.
Monday was a holiday here, so we used the time to make sure we had the technology sorted for online lessons. Thankfully, that meant we were able to race in to pick up a new microphone/headset when we found the one we bought was incompatible with the laptop…
It also meant I could pick up an Irish cream flavoured coffee…
That helped.
Sweet Bean is doing some online live classes this year, which he’s not really done before. He had orientation for grade 11 yesterday (he’s doing grade 11 English and maths), an English lesson at 11am, and a maths lesson at 9am this morning. He loved it! 😀
The first week back is usually spent settling in to the year and working out how things fit together. Looking forward to how things progress this year – seems there’ll be a lot more online interaction, with both teachers and other students.
Onward to learning and fun!
