it’s been so hot today…..

even the clothes i took out of the draw to put on tonight smelled like they’d been baked in the sun – that hot, dry, somehow sweet, parched, rain-on-dry-ground sort of smell….

it’s been a sort of dreaming day….

anything is possible.
