Just taking a break from trying to figure out how to do bits and pieces for a scavenger hunt I did last year, and signed up again for this year. I seem to have mostly picked miniature items from the list – lots of squinting and cramped fingers!
Around 200 years ago someone decided to create this little gem, called “Duetto buffo di due gatti” (meaning “humorous duet for two cats”). It’s attributed to Rossini, but was possibly compiled by someone else who drew inspiration from one of Rossini’s operas. Whatever the truth of it, have a look.
Perhaps when the neighbourhood cats start up tonight, you can just pretend they’re singing opera…
