Yesterday was a busy day. I went to a United Christian Women’s Conference Friday night/Saturday, met new friends, spent time with old, was inspired, and shared a wonderful feast. The vision of women uniting in Christ, of moving forward together, is one I’ve been hearing – it will be interesting to see where it leads 😀
In between the morning and the evening session, I was whisked off to spend time with another group of wonderful friends, to celebrate the birthday of one, and catch up face to face with everyone. We had some issues getting there (the GPS couldn’t cope with the road works. It kept recalculating) but it’s always worth the effort to get together… we talked for hours, and laughed (and laughed some more!) We all have different sadnesses in our lives, but they don’t seem so dark when you have friends to be real with 😀
