New Lounge Room!

We have new sofas! 😀

Yesterday a friend’s mum moved, and had a couple of sofas and rocking chair to give away. Our old corner suite has been past it’s use by date for us for a long time, so we said yes, and picked them up yesterday…. we’ve had a rearrange, and bits of tidying etc….

Here’s the results!

The one on the left is low, but quite firm – easy to get out of. Anyone who’s sat on our old sofa lately will know why that’s a good thing…. The other one is a fold-out futon. I haven’t figured out a way to hide the gap underneath yet….. if that’s necessary anyway…

There’s a gap in the corner now, so we’ve put together a corner TV unit we had downstairs.. we’ll use the shelves for… stuff… 😀 and the big “TV” area as a sort of coffee table. I might put my photos out again, on top. At the moment, I’ve christened it with a vase of flowers another friend gave me on Sunday 😀

I have a rocking chair!!!! It’s just inside the front door at the moment, in the sun. When we get the verandah fixed, I’ll probably put it out there….

I feel so blessed! 😀
