The Fun Bits…

… and here’s the fun part of the day 😀

Went for our weekly visit to Vanilla and Rose, had gorgeous (both in taste and look) food, and enjoyed the music and chat, surrounded by beautiful things. I always feel inspired there…

Here’s my hubby’s black forest cake and tea…

Tasted as good as it looks…

I had hot chocolate, with a lovely chocolate/lavender ganache tart (the boys shared another one between them)

Note the beautiful plate it’s served on…

And, because of the difficulties earlier, my sweet man made a detour on his way home this afternoon, and got me a heart – topped chocolate cupcake, and another choc/lavender tart for this evening 😀 Chocolate ALWAYS brightens things up!

Oh wow, that looks scrumptious! I saw an article in the paper on that cafe and have been meaning to go but (like many lovely things), it’s been pushed to the backburner for a while. Time to bring it to the front, methinks! ;o)
